"Are you sure they're gone?"
"I can only hope."
"Well... Either way, this is a good place to sit and wait it out."
"Didn't think I'd hear the great Robin being so willing to hide."
"Hiding can save a life sometimes," Robin said, frowning softly.
"Even when it's just our friends wanting to go out for pizza?"
"You know, Rae, if you'd prefer to hang out with them when this is the first
chance we've had in two weeks to be alone together, that's fine. We can
leave and go see them."
Raven shifted some in the small booth, pushed the hood down off her head and
shook it gently. "No. I want to hang out and be alone with you, I just find
it amusing that we're forced to hide from our friends in a photo booth."
Robin smiled at her in the darkness, and could almost see the blush on her
cheeks at having just admitted she wanted to be alone with him. He found it
cute. Leaning over slightly, he kissed her and then shifted to hold her in
his arms more. "Well... I think we might be able to make this work. I
doubt the booth's working all that well, since it's hidden away in a
corner." After another kiss, he could again almost feel her cheeks flushing
more.
"You just like any place I can all but sit on your lap," she said, hating
how easily he could fluster her.
He laughed softly and pulled her into his lap, "I do at that. But, I enjoy
the few spare moments we get to be alone as well. Happens a lot less then
it should, since we've been dating for almost a month."
Resting her head down on his shoulder, she managed a small smile. Emotions
weren't easy to deal with, but somehow the ones with Robin weren't as
difficult as they could have been. "You know... We could put the booth to
good use..." she offered. "I don't think there's any pictures of the two of
us together... Just us."
"That's because we never have enough time, just the two of us." He pointed
out, but nodded and twisted some to dig around in his belt for some money.
"Hope I've got the right change... Or else we'll have more then we know
what to do with."
His moving around made her squeak softly, which caused her to blush hotly.
He had that effect on her, which tended to upset her to no end...
despitenot really being upset. It was more that his actions could
make her squeak
or...make some other undignified sound.
"Got it." He finally said into the darkness and leaned down to put the
money, enough for three sets of pictures, in the slot.
Nothing happened.
"Great... My last ten and the machine eats it."
A muffled giggle came from the darkness. Robin raised an eyebrow at it.
"Did you just..."
"No..."
"If you didn't, then someone else is in here."
"I don't giggle."
"That's not true. I've seen you giggle once before."
"Wasn't me. It was the part of me that likes to laugh and be happy."
He gave her a look that would have spoken volumes, if she'd been able to see
it.
"Don't give me that look."
He laughed softly and pulled her into a sweet kiss. The machine choose that
moment to come on, and start taking pictures.
Outside the booth, Cyborg had his hands over both Beast Boy and Starfire's
mouths, keeping them from making any noise. The pictures started to pop out
of the machine and he let them go so he could pick them up and check them
out. The smile on his face could have lit the deepest ocean. "Ah... They
look so cute..." He said, loud enough for them both to hear. An angry
noise from inside had them all laughing and taking off as the photo booth
was suddenly engulfed in black.
